POLICE LOG for December 30: Playstation 5 Stolen; COVID-19 Vaccine Scam Phone Call

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, December 30, 2020:
  • A Shawsheen Avenue caller reported receiving a scam call regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. (12:55pm)
  • A caller reported possibly losing her gray Coach wallet at Market Basket on on Monday. (1:58pm)
  • A caller reported 4 youths on train tracks off Salem Street with a tripod and cameras set up. Police notified Keolis to slow down and use caution. Parties got into a vehicle and drove away. Police caught up with parties, who used to live in the area and was showing it to their kids. (2:25pm)
  • A caller reported he shipped a Playstation 5 via FedEx and it went missing. He valued the device at $1200. Station Officer spoke with FedEx who says it’s under investigation. (4:37pm)
