POLICE LOG for December 24: Keys Fall Into Sewer Grate; Fire Lane Violation

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, December 24, 2020:
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred at Glen Road and King Street. Airbag deployed. Involved parties refused medical transport. Vehicle towed. (8:01am)
  • Police issued a verbal warning to a driver for a fire lane violation in front of Market Basket. (9:54am)
  • Police assisted a party with keys that fell into a sewer grate on Deming Way. Keys were retrieved with a wire hook. (2:46pm)
  • Transit Police reported a man is refusing to leave a RIDE vehicle on Appletree Lane. Police responded. Man was on the wrong bus. Transit Police agree to transport man to his home. (4:05pm)
  • A caller stated heavy traffic build-up at the Concord Street and Woburn Street intersection with people cutting each others off and running lights. (7:39pm)
