POLICE LOG for December 2: Driver Issued Summons; Child Dials 911; Dog Jumps Fence

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, December 2, 2020:
  • Cassius Thihaphious Taylor (32, Lawrence) was issued a summons for Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Revoked Registration, and No Or Expired Inspection Sticker. (2:41am)
  • A Dadant Drive caller reported that a dog jumped over the fence into their yard. Dog owner retrieved dog prior to arrival. (8:27am)
  • A caller reported that a Windsor Place employee has been terminated and was sitting in her vehicle for the past 30 minutes. Caller would like her to leave without causing a scene. Police responded. Party wanted to calm down and be less upset prior to driving. Police stood by. Party was able to collect herself and went on her way. (3:01pm)
  • Police received a 911 call from Woburn Street. Sounded like kids were doing karaoke in the background. Police spoke with parent who said her 5-year-old dialed accidentally. Police confirmed. (7:46pm)
