POLICE LOG for November 30: Missing Billerica Teen Located After Wilmington Crash; OUI Arrest; Used Condoms Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, November 30, 2020:
  • Police responded to reports of a vehicle involved in a crash on Shawsheen Avenue. Car had airbag deployed and impact to windshield. Car abandoned. Car registered to Billerica homeowner. Police visited home. Police determined driver was teenage son of owner. Vehicle had struck a pole, only causing superficial damage to it. Vehicle towed. K9’s called in. Police checked house under construction in area of Kendall and Houghton. Air Wing and NEMLC Rapid Response Team called in for search. Keolis notified that officers were searching along train tracks. Response Team stationed at Shawsheen Elementary School. Police checked a shed on Sarafinas Way that homeowner said was opened this morning after being closed last night. Billerica Police checked Boys & Girls Club in Billerica where missing teen frequented. Tewksbury Police located missing teen near Sal’s Pizza on Main Street in Tewksbury. (beginning at 2:21am)
  • A caller from Dunkin Donuts on Middlesex Avenue reported an elderly couple came in and the woman appeared to faint and needed her oxygen tank, which caller retrieved. Couple was arguing about calling hospital or having husband drive. Police responded, but couple had already left. State Police notified. (2:51pm)
  • A caller reported finding used condoms near the picnic tables at Yentile Farm Recreational Facility last Wednesday night. DPW notified to clean. (3:22pm)
  • A vehicle crashed into a pole at Main Street and Veranda Avenue. Portion of Main Street shut down. RMLD and Verizon notified. Vehicle towed. Operator was transported to hospital by Fire Department. (3:55pm)
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred near CVS. No injuries noted. One driver cited for speed and red light violation. (5:34pm)
  • A tree fell onto a house on Forest Street. (6:23pm)
  • Patrick Dooley (33, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Marked Lanes Violation, Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle, Leaving Scene Of Property Damage, Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License, and Malicious Destruction of Property. A caller reported an erratic driver operating on Salem Street, heading towards Tewksbury, with front end of vehicle hanging off. Caller said driver was driving in circles, on the wrong side of the road, and all over the roadway. Vehicle crashed onto lawn at corner of Salem Street and Cunningham Street, but drove away. Police located vehicle in Evergreen Drive parking lot. (6:28pm)
