POLICE LOG for November 28: Driver Cited For Burnouts; More Kids On Bikes Behaving Badly

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, November 28, 2020:
  • A caller reported kids on bikes were swerving into traffic near the Boutwell Early Childhood Center. Police located juveniles at Cumberland Farms. Their parents were called and they were told to go home. (10:44am)
  • A caller reported an erratic driver on Chestnut Street, swerving back and forth across the road and driving on the wrong side of the road. Children in the car. Wilmington Police notified Burlington Police. (4:33pm)
  • Fire Department responded to report of smoke in the laundry room at Windsor Place on West Street. (4:48pm)
  • Police came across a vehicle doing burnouts in front of Santander Bank on Main Street. Driver was issued a citation for loud noise violation, failure to use care when starting and stopping, and adult seatbelt violation. (9:43pm)
