POLICE LOG for November 18: Food Distribution At High School Leads To Traffic Issues; Keys Found At Rotary Park

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, November 18, 2020:
  • Police came across a suspicious vehicle on Floradale Avenue. Two parties were playing Pokemon Go. Checked OK. (12:45am)
  • Keys were located on the path at Rotary Park and turned into the station. (8:07am)
  • Police investigated a complaint of unpermitted chickens on Pouliot Place. (9:11am)
  • Police assisted with traffic from the meal pick-up at the high school. Cars were backing up onto Church Street. Police spoke with employee and suggested parents come at different times based on last name to limit traffic. (9:35am)
  • Police noted a train was blocking the roadway at North Wilmington station. (8:19pm)
  • An Andover Street caller reported a rabid raccoon on their property. Police responded. Raccoon was trying to get into cat door to get food. Raccoon was a little wobbly and left the area. (10:06pm)
