POLICE LOG for October 28: 3 Parked Cars Struck; Deer vs. Car; Car Strikes Sign; Speeding On Main St.

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, October 28, 2020:
  • Animal Control Officer removed a deceased turkey from Shawsheen Avenue. (10:18am)
  • A 1-vehicle crash occurred on Main Street near Enterprise. Driver struck head on windshield and bled. Damage done to curb and Enterprise sign. Vehicle towed. (1:23pm)
  • A Main Street resident reported cars are traveling in excess of 70 MPH, especially between 8pm and 11pm. (2:23pm)
  • Tow truck pulled UPS truck out of the mud it was stuck in on Wildwood Street. (2:28pm)
  • A caller reported he struck a deer at Burlington Avenue and Harris Street. Caller was unsure if it was deceased. Animal Control Officer checked area and could not locate deer. (3:41pm)
  • Police restored the peace between disputing neighbors on Eleanor Drive after one’s dog attacked the other’s dog. (4:19pm)
  • A male driver struck three parked cars at Regency Place Properties on Horseshoe Lane. Fire Department called in for possible diabetic issue with driver. (10:03pm)
