POLICE LOG for October 25: Windows Smashed Out In Vehicle; Mysterious Screams For Help Heard By Several Residents Near Square One Plaza

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, October 25, 2020:
  • Police came across four individuals playing basketball at the Woburn Street School’s basketball courts. They were told to play elsewhere. (1:23am)
  • A caller reported that while walking his dog on Kiernan Avenue, he could hear a woman yelling for help behind a house. Police responded. No yelling heard. A resident on Naples Road confirmed hearing yelling and believed it was coming from the Square One Plaza area. Another resident reported hearing yelling during the night. Police checked with employees at various Square One Plaza businesses. None recently heard any yelling. (9:12am)
  • A caller reported windows were smashed out of a MassDOT vehicle in the RMV parking lot. (11:38am)
  • A deceased turkey was reported on Shawsheen Avenue. (11:55am)
