POLICE LOG for October 23: 4 Drivers Issued Summonses; Giant Trump Sign Suspect Described As Man Wearing Black Clothes & Black Hat

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, October 23, 2020:
  • Carlos Joaquin (34, Methuen) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Joaquin was pulled over on Woburn Street. (1:09am)
  • Joshua T. Kerwin (42, Peabody) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Kerwin was pulled over in the area of Ballardvale Street. (3:12am)
  • A male party in black clothes and a black hat hung a large Trump sign from one telephone pole to another over Main Street. Police checked surrounding streets, but party was gone upon arrival. RMLD was notified, but declined to send out an on-call representative. Police officer took the sign down himself. (5:04am)
  • William C. Vallette (28, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Vallette was pulled over on Middlesex Avenue. (12:43pm)
  • Police received reports of kids walking on the train tracks on Concord Street. Police responded and located a grandmother and grandson walking in the area of the tracks. They were advised to stay off the tracks. (2:36pm)
  • A caller reported a female driver was a smoking a Class D substance at Federal Street and Middlesex Avenue. Caller also observed her passing the substance to a passenger in the front seat. Police were unable to locate vehicle. (3:18pm)
  • Ashley Ann Guimaraes (29, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Revoked Registration and Failure To Stop. Guimaraes was pulled over on Main Street. (9:34pm)
  • A Horseshoe Lane caller reported an egg was thrown at their patio door. (9:45pm)
