POLICE LOG for October 22: School Bus Has Mechanical Issues With Students On Board; Dog Attack At Town Dog Park

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, October 22, 2020:
  • Police responded to a disabled school bus (s7) on Route 62 on the 93 overpass. 3 juveniles were on the bus. Another bus (s10) was sent for and arrived. Police assisted transporting students to new bus. (7:16am)
  • A Nichols Street resident complained of excessive speeding in the area from 4am to 9am and 4pm to 9pm. Traffic officer will follow up. (10:08am)
  • A caller reported a dog attacked another dog at the Town Dog Park. By the time the police arrived, one of the dog owners and dog had left the scene. (1:00pm)
  • Police received report of an erratic garbage truck driver in the area of the high school. Police were unable to locate. (2:04pm)
  • Police checked in on a suspicious vehicle parked in Tremezzo’s parking lot on Lowell Street. Driver was playing Pokemon Go. (11:22pm)
