VIDEO: Watch Wilmington’s Candlelight Vigil To Remember Loved Ones & Celebrate Recovery

WILMINGTON, MA — The Prevention Professionals of Northern Middlesex recently held a Candlelight Vigil to remember loved ones and celebrate recovery on the Wilmington Town Common.

Wilmington’s Health and Recovery Coordinator Samantha Reif, Wilmington Police Chief Joseph Desmond, and Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan all offered remarks.

Featured speakers included Zack Team’s Foundation President Louise Griffin and recoveree Michael Teague of Michael’s House Sober Living. Local musician John Murphy performed. A powerful remembrance reading took place.

Eight communities came together to host this joint Remembrance and Recovery Vigil. Town Manager Jeff Hull, Selectmen Chair Jonathan Eaton, Selectman Greg Bendel, and State Representative Dave Robertson were among those present to represent the town of Wilmington.
