POLICE LOG for October 16: Lots Of Unemployment Scams; Snack Shack At Town Hall Vandalized

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, October 16, 2020:
  • During a check of the school buses in the Lucci Realty Trust property on Lowell Street, police noted many of the bus doors were open. Police concluded buses had been deep cleaned and were being aired out. (1:47am)
  • During a check of Town Hall, police noted new vandalism to the Snack Shack, with words written in marker near the window area. (2:15am)
  • Unemployment fraud reported from residents on Chestnut Street, Redwood Terrace, Dexter Street, Hillside Way, and Greenmeadow Drive. (throughout the day)
  • 2-vehicle crash at Glen Road and Lawrence Street. No injuries reported. Police assisted with paperwork exchange. (6:13pm)
