POLICE LOG for October 1: Truck Fire On Highway; Near Head-On Collision; Teens Fighting

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, October 1, 2020:
  • A caller reported he believes someone threw a rock at his windshield. Police believed an acorn likely fell on it. No damage. (3:08pm)
  • Fire Chief reported vehicle with front end damage crossed the double yellow lines and nearly struck him head-on near Burger King on Lowell Street. Police were unable to locate. (3:18pm)
  • Fire and Police Departments responded to truck fire on 93 South Exit 38 ramp. (6:05pm)
  • Police responded to two juveniles fighting on High Street. Both refused medical attention. (7:40pm)
