POLICE LOG for September 28: Driver Issued Summons; Another Political Sign Stolen; Police Respond To Parking Lot Fight Call

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, September 28, 2020:
  • Jaqueline Dos Santos (41, Winchester) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Speeding. (6:53am)
  • A Park Street caller reported a political sign was taken from their property over the weekend. (9:22am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Market Basket. (12:50pm)
  • Police removed a deceased snake from the roadway on Carter Lane. (1:21pm)
  • Driver received a written warning for failure to stop for pedestrian in crosswalk at Middlesex Avenue and Clark Street. (2:08pm)
  • Police notified DPW that swing at Shawsheen playground is broken. (3:21pm)
  • Police notified DPW that stop sign at Cross Street and Lowell Street was knocked over. (3:31pm)
  • Jose Miguel Mercado (32, Boston) was issued a summons for Larceny Under $1200. (5:06pm)
  • Police responded to a fight in the Red Heat Tavern parking lot. Not as reported. Fight was only verbal in nature. (7:12pm)
