POLICE LOG for September 26: OUI Arrest After Crash; Golf Balls Landing In Lawn; Raccoon With Bottle On Head

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, September 26, 2020:
  • Gil A. Diroche (21, Lynn) was issued a summons for OUI (Drugs) and Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. Dircohe crashed into a guardrail and pole at Concord Street and Woburn Street. Diroche was transported to Lahey Hospital. (2:24am)
  • Police received a call after a Pinewood resident was hitting golf balls onto a Shady Lane Drive property. No damage. Resident was advised of the complaint. (6:06pm)
  • A caller reported a raccoon had a bottle on its head in the area of Sprucewood Road. Police were unable to locate. (7:53pm)
  • Police checked on a suspicious vehicle in the Market Basket parking lot. Party was stargazing, not sleeping. Vehicle was moved along. (11:39pm)
