POLICE LOG for September 23: Car Fire On 93; Car Abandoned In Lucci’s Parking Lot; Butters Row Bridge Dispute

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, September 23, 2020:
  • Fire Department responded to car fire on 93 North prior to Exit 39. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. (6:33am)
  • A caller stated a vehicle has been parked in the Lucci’s parking lot for one month with a note saying the vehicle was broken down and owner will try to come back. (8:49am)
  • A caller reported she had a verbal altercation with another driver trying to go over the Butters Row Bridge. Driver wanted the incident logged. (9:59am)
  • Police notified DPW a speed limit sign on Shawsheen Avenue was covered by brush. (12:07pm)
  • A King Street caller reported a bitcoin scam. (1:24pm)
  • An employee at Triton Car Wash reported an irate customer wouldn’t leave. (1:38pm)
  • A Wilton Driver caller reported prescription glasses were taken from vehicle. Driver called back after finding the glasses. (2:17pm)
