POLICE LOG for September 21: Teen Runs Away From Group Home; Deer Struck & Killed; Truck Damages Mailbox

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, September 21, 2020:
  • Police notified Mass Highway that green light exiting McDonald/Rite Aid at Main Street and Richmond Street is out. (1:51am)
  • Milestone Group Home staff member reported a juvenile walked away from the program around 1:25pm and has not returned. (2:07pm)
  • A deer was struck and killed on Burlington Avenue. DPW notified. (7:28pm)
  • A pickup truck struck a mailbox on Faulkner Avenue and continued on. Police were able to locate truck at Town Beach and gave owner’s information to homeowner. (9:31pm)
  • Police received report of attempted identify theft scam regarding unemployment claim. (11:24pm)
