POLICE LOG for September 13: Driver Issued Summons; Mannequin Left In Parking Lot; Kids Playing With Blowhorn

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, September 13, 2020:
  • Cristian Orlando Sorto Guevara (18, Lynn) was issued a summons for Failure To Stop/Yield and Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Guevara was pulled over on Route 125. (1:22am)
  • Police moved a rug out of the roadway at Main Street and Mass Avenue. Police notified DPW for pickup. (1:54am)
  • Police came across what they thought was a disabled vehicle on 93 North. Man was sleeping in vehicle. He told police he pulled over to take a nap. Police advised him to not nap when on the highway. (2:33am)
  • State Police notified Wilmington Police of reports of a man possibly beating a child in a vehicle on 93 South. Vehicle located in Wilmington. State police to respond. (4:30pm)
  • Stickers were placed on two vehicles in the Town Hall parking lot. (4:48pm)
  • Caller believes someone got into shed at the Shawsheen School and is yelling into the loud speaker used for the soccer field. Police responded. No entry made to shed. Kids had a blowhorn and we wrapping up playing for the night. (7:32pm)
  • Police found a mannequin left behind in the Fourth of July Building parking lot. DPW notified for disposal. (10:03pm)
