POLICE LOG for August 24: OUI Arrest; Driver Issued Summons; U-Haul Trucks Reported Stolen; Teen Runs Away From Group Home

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, August 24, 2020:
  • Police checked on a vehicle in the St. Thomas parking lot. Vehicle had a revoked registration. Vehicle towed and plates confiscated. (7:22am)
  • Police notified DPW of brush blocking view at Woburn Street and Eames Street intersection. (9:48am)
  • Bowie M. Harrison (37, Maynard) was issued a summons for Number Plate Violation To Conceal ID; Unregistered Motor Vehicle; and No/Expired Inspection Sticker. Harrison was pulled over on 93 South Exit 38 ramp. (1:52pm)
  • U-Haul reported two vehicles were not returned after rental. Police entered them into NCIC. (2:09pm)
  • A Glen Road caller reported someone backed into their driveway and hit the corner of her house, pulling off the gutter. (2:25pm)
  • A male juvenile ran away from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. Police could not locate juvenile and entered his information into NCIC. (4:13pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to NuPath Group Home on Woburn Street after fire alarm sounded. Light smoke in kitchen due to cooking. Building evacuated. (4:38pm)
  • Deborah J. Rousseaux (61, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor on Main Street. (6:23pm)
