POLICE LOG for August 22: Teens Falsely Accused Of Killing Turtles; Police Help With Motor Vehicle Lockouts; Ring Found

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, August 22, 2020:
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Shell Gas Station on Main Street. (4:04am)
  • A ring was found in the area of Washington Avenue and Clark Street. Police placed in evidence locker. (9:07am)
  • A crash involving 4 vehicles occurred on Main Street. At least one vehicle had children inside. No injuries noted. (11:44am)
  • A caller reported a group of teenagers at Burt Road and Canal Street were catching turtles and smashing them onto the ground. Police responded and found the call unfounded. Teens were using a net to catch baby fish. (12:45pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Market Basket. (1:21pm)
