POLICE LOG for August 14: Wilmington Police Respond To Complaint In Wilmington Community Facebook Group; Items Taken From Yards

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, August 14, 2020:
  • Police checked the area of Arelene Avenue using infrared after complaints of kids ringing doorbells reported in the Wilmington Community Facebook Group. Nothing showing. (5:22am)
  • Walk-in party turned in a wallet found at the Woburn Street School. (7:32am)
  • A caller reported an unsuccessful unemployment scam attempt. (11:08am)
  • Police assisted with a paperwork exchange for a 2-vehicle crash at Target. (3:24pm)
  • A Main Street caller reported her house is under renovation and yard items were taken from her front and back yards. Police spoke with the responsible party who agreed to return them. (3:44pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash with minor damage occurred on Ballardvale Street. Both vehicles towed. No injuries. (5:30pm)
