POLICE LOG for August 12: More Street Signs Missing; Craigslist Scam; Speeding Dump Truck?

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, August 12, 2020:
  • Police sent 3 parties on the playground at the Shawsheen Elementary School on their way. (1:15am)
  • Police issued a parking citation for obstructing a fire hydrant on Jewel Drive. (2:14pm)
  • A caller reported that everyday a construction dump truck speeds down Woburn Street past his house. (2:20pm)
  • Police notified DPW that street signs for Blueberry Lane and Cottonwood Circle is missing. (4:43pm)
  • A resident reported someone set up a fake Craigslist account in her name. (5:22pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a grill fire on Morgan Road. (5:44pm)
  • A caller reported a posible fistfight in the Fourth of July Building parking lot. Police responded. Just a couple of friends roughhousing. (6:33pm)
