POLICE LOG for August 8: Woman Arrested On Warrant; Man Taken Into Protective Custody; Complaint Of Large Gathering

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, August 8, 2020:
  • Police noted a tree has fallen on Upton Drive and is sticking out onto the street. Police notified DPW. (3:41am)
  • A Webber Street caller reported attempted larceny scam by phone. (1:28pm)
  • A caller reported a large gathering on Gowing Road. Police responded. Wedding shower was under the 50-person limit. (4:03pm)
  • Police received a call reporting a male party wanted to fight with the police at Market Basket. Police responded. Man was taken into protective custody. (6:56pm)
  • Krystle Ann Stephan (32, Haverhill) was arrested on a warrant. Police responded to a complaint that someone parked on their lawn on Lake Street. (8:40pm)
