WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee meets this Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 7pm.
The bulk of the meeting is expected to focus on the school district’s reopening plan. Agenda items include:
- Superintendent Dr. Glenn Brand will share the DESE announcement regarding a shortened school year.
- Superintendent Brand will bring forward a revised 2020-2021 school year.
- Superintendent Brand will share the final recommendations of the WPS Reopening Advisory Group.
- The School Committee will vote on the WPS Reopening Plan for Fall 2020.
The School Committee will also approve a $750 donation from the Xavier Family to Wilmington Middle School teachers. Approval of minutes, subcommittee reports, correspondence, and public comments are also on the agenda.
