POLICE LOG for July 31: Items Missing From Veteran’s Grave, Bad Crash On 93 South, Road Rage Incident

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, July 31, 2020:
  • Police checked on a man with a dirt bike in the Cumberland Farm parking lot. Man was advised of his license status and agreed to walk home with the dirt bike. (2:57am)
  • Police notified RMLD of tree limbs rubbing against power lines causing sparks and smoke at Charlotte Road and Gunderson Road. (4:02am)
  • A resident reported a dog bite on Butters Row. Resident declined medical attention. Animal Control Officer responded. (2:50pm)
  • A party reported items missing from the veterans lot in the Wildwood Cemetery, including a balloon, pinwheel and solar light. (3:11pm)
  • A caller reported he was involved in a road rage incident on 93 South. Second involved vehicle got off at Exit 38. (5:17pm)
  • Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash on 93 South, prior to Exit 38. State Police handled scene. Vehicles towed. Injuries reported in breakdown lane and fast lane. (5:58pm)
  • Police assisted a father and daughter in locating missing jewelry in the 4th of July Building parking lot. (8:26pm)
