VIDEO: Watch Middlesex Sheriff’s Virtual Youth Public Safety Academy On COVID-19 & Summer Safety

Below is an announcement from the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office:

MEDFORD, MA — On July 29, 2020, the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office kicked off a four-part Virtual Youth Public Safety Academy (YPSA).

This virtual program is replacing the traditional in-person YPSA program which was cancelled this year due to COVID-19.

The first session focused on both COVID-19 and summer safety. Dr. Alysse Wurcel, an infectious disease specialist at Tufts Medical Center, talks to cadets & parents/guardians about COVID-19 and help answer questions about the pandemic.
