POLICE LOG for July 18: Fence Damaged; Mailbox Vandalized; Erratic Driver On Highway Results In Multiple Calls

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, July 18, 2020:
  • A Shady Lane Drive resident reported damage done to her fence last night, possibly in relation to new TikTok challenge. Police checked Ring cameras from neighbors. (11:16am)
  • A Glen Road caller reported his mailbox was damaged last night. (1:13pm)
  • Fire Department responded to report of smoke in basement on Kajin Way. (4:23pm)
  • Police responded to an infrared alarm on Main Street. Police did a building check. All secure. 1/2 dozen of balloons were hanging in lobby and possibly set off the alarm. (8:26pm)
  • A caller reported kids were riding their bikes and swearing in the area of Linda Road and Pineridge Road. (8:49pm)
  • During a check of Town Hall, police sent 5 parties behind the Snack Shack on their way. (9:15pm)
  • A caller reported a vehicle was swerving on 93 North and got off on Exit 39 towards Concord Street. State Police reported a second caller also notified them. Police were unable to locate. North Reading Police notified. (9:38pm)
