Face Mask Donations Being Collected For Wilmington Public School Students

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington resident Urszula Tasto has organized an effort to collect donated masks for Wilmington Public School students.

“We are collecting home-made or purchased masks for distribution by the schools to economically disadvantaged children,” reads the flyer. “The goal is to provide these children with function and attractive 2+ layer masks.”

Tasto is hoping to collect 900 masks — 3 each for Wilmington’s approximately 300 economically disadvantaged students.

Masks can be dropped in the bin next to the backdoor of the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street). Masks must be new, unworn and 2+ layers.  Masks should be individually placed in a Ziploc labeled with size.
