Wilmington 9th Grader To Hold Clothing Drive To Benefit Cradles To Crayons, July 20-31

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington 9th grader Sofia Pitzen has organized a Clothing Drive to benefit Cradles To Crayons.

Residents are encouraged to drop off clothing items inside bags in the marked box outside the garage at 425 Middlesex Avenue. The drive takes place daily from 10am to 3pm, from July 20, 2020 to July 31, 2020.

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play.

Pitzen currently serves as Wilmington’s ambassador to the state’s Project 351 initiative. Pitzen engages in service learning, community building, and leadership training after being selected by Wilmington Middle School officials for her kindness, compassion, humility and gratitude.
