Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Recreation Department:
WILMINGTON, MA — Sign up today to guarantee your spot in Top Secret Science & Math! These one day online programs will run on Friday, July 17, 2020. In these hands-on programs, children will take part in five different experiments.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: 9 – 10:30 a.m.
Children will conduct experiments that include Magic Fish, Lincoln Face Drops, Magic Ping Pong Ball, Ocean Current and Titanic Index Cards.
Magical Science: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Conduct experiments such as The Elbow Trick, Marble in a Bottle, Card & Number Tricks, Balancing Soda Can and Balancing Nails.
These programs are open to children entering grades 1 – 5. Cost is $25 per participant for either class.
Please register as soon as possible! Children will need access to Zoom, a link will be a sent prior to class. You will also pick up your class materials from the Recreation Office a few days before class.
To register, please visit the Recreation Department’s website https://www.wilmingtonma.gov/recreation and log into your account. You can also call the Rec. Office at 978-658-4270 to register, or if you have any questions, staff would be glad to help. The Office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
