Paving Projects Set To Begin On Arlene Ave., Anthony Ave., Barbara Ave., Catherine Ave. & Dorothy Ave.

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Department of Public Works:

WILMINGTON, MA — Please be advised that the Wilmington Department of Public Works will begin removing old curbing and sidewalks, grinding, and resurfacing the roadways listed below, tentatively starting July 20, 2020:

  • Arlene Avenue (from Salem Street to Dorothy Avenue)
  • Anthony Avenue
  • Barbara Avenue
  • Catherine Avenue
  • Dorothy Avenue

Once the date is locked in, an automated call will be placed to the neighborhood to alert residents.

During operations, no street parking will be allowed.

Partial lane closures and full road closures are anticipated. Local residents will have access to their properties, although there may be short delays.

Please obey the directives of police details, detour signs, and warning signs during all construction operations, and again, please do not park on the street.
