POLICE LOG for July 4: Warrant Arrest; Car Mirrors Damaged; Fireworks Complaint

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, July 4, 2020:
  • An unnamed man was arrested on a warrant. He was pulled over on Salem Street near Benevento Sand & Stone. (2:04am)
  • Police noted two driver’s side sideview mirrors were damaged overnight on Houghton Road, possibly by a passing vehicle. (9:33am)
  • Police noted a mailbox was knocked down on Jacquith Road. (10:23am)
  • Fireworks were observed in the area of Main Street. Police spoke to residents, who agreed to cease fireworks. (8:42pm)
  • A Beech Street caller reported that in addition to the expletive that was written on the political sign, someone now wrote “BLM” on the sign. (8:51pm)
  • A youth walked away from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (9:44pm)
