POLICE LOG for June 29: Billerica Woman Arrested For OUI; Groundhog Goes Through Starbucks Drive-Thru

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, June 29, 2020:
  • Police notified DPW that tennis courts at Shawsheen School are flooded and a hazard. (1:14am)
  • Taylor Marie Kelley (23, North Billerica) was arrested for OUI Liquor; Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle; and Marked Lanes Violation. Kelley was stopped at Shawsheen Avenue and Reed Street. (1:15am)
  • Starbucks manager reported an injured groundhog walking around drive-thru and patio area. (8:12am)
  • A party reported a suspicious message on Instagram. (3:21pm)
  • During a check of Town Beach, police redirected 3 juveniles from beach to fishing pier. (5:08pm)
  • A caller stated a group of youths were playing street hockey in the St. Thomas parking lot and kept hitting the church. Police responded. Youths relocated to back of lot so they wouldn’t accidentally hit the church. (5:53pm)
  • A Burt Road caller reported his vehicle’s front license plate was stolen or fell off. (6:24pm)
