WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a vehicle involved in a “smash and grab” vehicle break-in on Tuesday.
The incident took place in front of the Wilmington Public Safety Building on Adelaide Street and was captured on video by the building’s security camera.
Police are searching for a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with a sunroof, no front license plate, and 5-spoke alloy rims.
According to police, the vehicle appears to be driven by a black or Hispanic man based on surveillance footage.
