POLICE LOG for June 11: 3 Vehicles Stolen From U-Haul; Angry Customer Throws Sandwich At Employee; Fire In Analog Parking Lot

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, June 11, 2020:
  • A manager of the U-Haul on Main Street reported his keybox was broken into and three of his vehicles were stolen overnight. Police put out a BOLO for each vehicle. (8:45am)
  • Caller reported a baby possum in yard appears to have been left behind by family on Harnden Street. Animal Control Officer was unable to access possum, but will check back. (9:16am)
  • Police reported window at Sprint store on Main Street was shutout with a BB gun. Damage was done back on June 4. Store management will be notified to address issue. (9:29am)
  • A caller reported roofing nails in her mother’s driveway on Woburn Street. Caller stated his brother spoke with a neighbor who also had nailed in his driveway. Police checked area and were unable to locate any nails. (12:22pm)
  • An employee at the Dunkin’ on Middlesex Avenue reported a customer threw a sandwich at him over pricing dispute. Customer got into gray sedan with New York plates. Police were unable to locate. (2:28pm)
  • A caller reported 3-5 teens were swimming by the fishing pier at Silver Lake. Police advised teens the pier was closed for swimming and had them call their parents. (3:05pm)
  • A Main Street caller reported an Amazon package was stolen from her door. (5:31pm)
  • Fire Department responded to transformer on fire on pole in Analog Devices parking lot. (5:42pm)
