POLICE LOG for June 6: Mailboxes Vandalized; Car Keyed; Lawn Furniture Tossed Into Woods; Fence Kicked Down

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, June 6, 2020:
  • A Swain Road caller reported it appeared someone drove into his fence last night. Police responded. Upon further inspection, it appeared someone walking by kicked the fence down. No damage to the fence panels, which that homeowner is putting back in place. (9:46am)
  • Residents reported vandalism to mailboxes at 27 Blanchard Street and 289 Shawsheen Avenue. (10:02am)
  • A Houghton Road resident reported lawn furniture was taken off property and thrown into woods. Neighbor returned them. No damage. (10:40am)
  • A caller reported his vehicle was keyed on Ohio Street. (1:13pm)
  • A mattress was located on the side of the road on Concord Street. DPW contacted for disposal. (3:06pm)
