LIBRARY LINEUP: Book Drop Now Open; How To Bake Sourdough On Jun. 9; Carving With Paul Dever On Jun. 11

WILMINGTON, MA — While the library remains closed, we will begin accepting returns in our book drop beginning Monday, June 1. If your last name begins with A – M, please drop off your items beginning Monday, June 1. If your last name begins with N – Z, please drop off beginning Monday, June 8. If the item you borrowed cannot be put in the return box, please call the library at 978-658-2967,

Following recommended guidelines from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, library returns will be quarantined for three days before being checked in and returned to the shelves. It will take longer for an item to show as returned in your account as items are not checked in until after the quarantine period. Fines will not accrue while the library is closed.

Budson, Professor of Neurology at BU, lecturer at Harvard, Chief of Cognitive Neurology at the Boston VA, and Medical Director of the Boston Center for Memory will explain how individuals can distinguish changes in memory due to Alzheimer’s versus normal aging; what medications, vitamins, diets, and exercise regimes can help; and the best habits, strategies, and memory aids to use, in seven simple steps.

How to Bake Sourdough

Join Library Associate and home baker Lisa Crispin for a program on all things sourdough! We’ll discuss equipment you need to get started, feeding and maintaining your starter, and great
resources for recipes and troubleshooting. Lisa will show her dough at various stages and helpful tips for the perfect loaf.

Author Talk with Liv Constantine
Thursday, June 11 at 7 pm
Liv Constantine is the pen name of USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling authors and sisters Lynne and Valerie Constantine. Their debut thriller, The Last Mrs. Parrish , was a Reese Witherspoon book club selection, a People Magazine book of the week, a Target book club selection, and is in development for television. Their second book, The Last Time I Saw You, was published by HarperCollins in 2019 and has been optioned for film.
