POLICE LOG for May 26: Shed Fire; Kids Swimming or Fishing?; Deer Euthanized; Skate Park Still Closed

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, May 26, 2020:
  • Police came across a vehicle in the Fourth of July parking lot. Parties were eating Simards and were sent on their way. (12:38am)
  • Police received a 911 misdial by a child playing with a phone on Woodland Road. (7:16am)
  • Police received report of a disabled garbage truck on Shawsheen Avenue. (12:25pm)
  • A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Burlington Avenue. Patients refused medical assistance. Both vehicles towed. (12:40pm)
  • Police moved along 4 youths playing in the skate park. (12:49pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported young kids with swimming in Silver Lake. Police responded. 2 juveniles with their parent were fishing, now swimming. (7:01pm)
  • A Taft Road caller reported a deer ran into her fence and is now unable to move. Deer was euthanized. (7:48pm0)
  • A caller reported a man was screaming and yelling at customers at Rocco’s. Police gave man a ride of the train station. (7:54pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to a shed fire on Oakdale Road. (9:12pm)
