POLICE LOG for May 23: OUI Arrest; Driver Issued Summons; Business Vandalized; Cops Called On Kids Using Court

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, May 23, 2020:
  • David A. Camoscio (32, Tewksbury) was arrested for OUI (Liquor), Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle, and Speeding In Violation Of Special Regulation. Camoscio was pulled over on 93 North, near Exit 41. (1:55am)
  • Police noted broken glass by Snack Shack at Town Hall. Trash and wrappers were on the ground. (5:41am)
  • Cosmasjames N. Mbugua (28, Lawrence) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Mbugua was pulled over on Route 125 and Andover Street. (8:29am)
  • Employee at Eames Street business said building had been entered and damage was done to windows, building and warehouse. Police confirmed serious property damage. (12:40pm)
  • A caller reported a group of juveniles playing basketball with no masks on at Woburn Street School. The group all arrived together and are known to each other. Police sent them on their way. (6:47pm)
  • A hit and run involving a vehicle striking a street sign and mailbox on Aldrich Street was reported. (11:56pm)
