WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Wednesday, May 27, 2020:
#1) FREE Curbside Meals For Wilmington Students
Wilmington Food Services is offering FREE “grab and go” breakfasts and lunches at Wilmington High School every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:30am to 11:30am.
This curbside pickup service is open to ALL Wilmington students in all grades, including those that do not attend Wilmington schools. The program has plenty of food and would like to feed more students than it’s currently feeding. There is NO contact — just unlock your trunk and food service workers will place the meals inside.

#2) Wilmington Yard Waste Center Is Open
The Wilmington Yardwaste Center on Old Main Street is open from 8am to 2pm for the drop-off of leaves and brush. Residents will need to purchase a punch-card for $15 in order to enter the yardwaste center. Punch-cards will be available for purchase through the Collector’s Office at Town Hall and will allow up to 5 vehicle trips to the yardwaste center per card. NO GRASS CLIPPINGS OR STUMPS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Commercial vehicles will not be allowed. Make sure to bring photo identification to show you are a Wilmington resident.
#3) Watch The Wilmington School Committee Meeting
The Wilmington School Committee meets at 7pm via Zoom. Read the agenda HERE. The meeting will be televised live on WCTV and wctv.org.
#4) Submit A Shout-Out To WHS Graduating Seniors
Wilmington Community Television invites family and friends of members of the WHS Class of 2020, along with the greater Wilmington community, to submit “shout-outs” to individual students, or the class as a whole.
These brief message swill appear on the screen throughout the video broadcast of this year’s Wilmington High School graduation ceremony.

#5) Toddler Time At Wilmington Memorial Library
Join Barbara virtually for songs, rhymes and books for toddlers at 10am. Bring something to wave (scarf, sock, or streamer) and shake (shaker, rattle or jar of beans). Ages 1-2.Zoom Meeting Room invitations will be emailed to registered attendees 30 minutes before event. Register HERE.
