POLICE LOG for May 18: Driver Issued Summons; Woman Taken Into Custody; Drinking Behind Town Hall

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, May 18, 2020:
  • Police noted broken glass by the concession stand and beer cans in the trash outside Town Hall. (2:48am)
  • Rudy Lopez-Garcia (20, Waltham) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Failure To Stop/Yield. Lopez-Garcia was pulled over on Main Street after a red light violation. (8:13am)
  • Customer complained Savers store was incorrectly discounting customers. Police advised customer to contact AG’s Office. (1:21pm)
  • Hamlin Lane resident reported a rabid raccoon on their back porch. Animal Control Officer responded. Raccoon was euthanized. (5:43pm)
