POLICE LOG for May 16: License Plate Stolen; Car Damaged In Possible Attempted Break-In; WPD Donates Car Seat

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, May 16, 2020:
  • Police donated a car seat to a DCF and installed it. (1:41am)
  • Police reported traffic was backed up on Glen Road due to mask giveaway at Town Hall. (8:39am)
  • Driver reported a lost/stolen front license plate from Avalon Drive. (3:45pm)
  • A Pineridge caller reported damage to his vehicle in a possible attempt to gain entry. (4:01pm)
  • A Sandy Lane caller reported sounds like a motorcycle or large caliber gun in area of old airport. Police responded and did not hear anything suspicious. Spoke with nearby resident who also had not heard anything. (11:46pm)
