POLICE LOG for May 9: Propane Tank Leaking; Child Calls 911 By Mistake

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, May 9, 2020:
  • Police checked in on a couple chatting at Town Park. They promised to move along shortly. (1:02am)
  • Police, Fire and State Police Truck Team responded to a leaking propane tank in a truck on Shawsheen Avenue. Owner arrived on scene and shut tank off. Fire Chief advised owner to remove the tank immediately. (2:34pm)
  • Police notified DPW of a downed tree in the road on Wildwood Street. (5:05pm)
  • Police received an accidental 911 call from a child playing with the phone. (7:21pm)
