BILLERICA, MA — Mary E. Whitehouse of Billerica, formerly of Stoughton, Boston, and Marshfield, passed away on May 5, 2020.
Mary was the cherished Mom and best friend of Kristene. She was born in Boston to the late William and Florida (Chapdelaine) Roth. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by her brother, John Roth, her sister, Alice Robb, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mary also leaves behind her partner in crime and favorite cuddler, her grand dog, Rudi. She was also the sister of the late Walter, Elaine, William, Florida, Richard, and Paul.
Mary graduated from The Jeremiah E. Burke School for Girls and Massasoit Community College, Magnum Cum Laude. She was a member of Phi Beta Cappa. Mary attended Stonehill College.
Mary’s family would like to thank her caregivers at CareOne Wilmington and Lahey Clinic.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to: March of Dimes, www.marchofdimes.org, Beagles of New England States, www.bonesbeagles.org, or a charity of your choice.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, there will be a limited service at Burns Funeral Home on Friday, May 8th, 2-3pm.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
