POLICE LOG for May 1: Issues At Starbucks & Burger King; Loud Music Complaint

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, May 1, 2020:
  • Police temporarily covered for detail officer at Starbucks. (11:31am)
  • An Earles Row caller reported it appeared someone tried to open soft cover on the back of his pickup truck sometime overnight. Bed of truck was empty and nothing was taken. Caller wanted the incident logged…. Caller called back to report situation was caused by oversight from his wife, not an attempted break-in. (1:28pm)
  • Police responded to complaint of loud music on Marion Street. Homeowner agreed to turn music off for night. (10:55pm)
  • Police responded to suspicious behavior and report of two males banging on the back door at Burger King. Police stood by while employees closed for the night. (11:10pm)
