POLICE LOG for April 30: Irate Customers At CVS & U-Haul; Truck vs. Rock Wall; Starbucks Traffic

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, April 30, 2020:
  • Police assisted with traffic at the Starbucks on Main Street. A new traffic pattern was put in place. (8:00am)
  • Police notified Mass Highway that both manhole covers on Concord Street near the 93 on and off ramps are clogged. (9:31am)
  • U-Haul employee reported an irate customer over a rental disagreement. Police responded and customer left without issue. (10:28am)
  • CVS employee reported an irate customer inside store yelling over issue with not being able to return item. Man threw item on the ground and was dissatisfied with return policy due to current situation. Customer left prior to police arrival. (10:31am)
  • Police responded to a dispute between roommates on Evergreen Drive. (5:18pm)
  • A Roosevelt Road caller stated someone logged into her cell phone account and attempted to purchase items. (6:36pm)
  • A truck struck a rock wall on High Street. Airbag deployed. Roadway shut down. DPW notified due to boulders in the street. Vehicle towed. Driver refused medical attention. Citation issued for marked lanes violation. A field sobriety test was administered and passed. (10:09pm)
