POLICE LOG for April 26: Injured Cat; Brush Fire; Driver Cited

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, April 26, 2020:
  • Police extinguished an unattended fire in a fire pit on Reading Avenue. (1:08am)
  • Police issued citation to driver for marked lanes violation, unlawful passing, and modified exhaust on Shawsheen Avenue. (3:10am)
  • Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Woburn Street. (10:50am)
  • Police received call about an injured cat at Salem Street and Cunningham Street. Animal Control Officer brought cat to Mass Vet in Woburn. Cat was chipped — owner lives in Dorchester. Owner contacted. (7:39pm)
