WILMINGTON, MA — Helen F. (Oram) Burton, age 94, of Wilmington, formerly a long-time resident of Medford, passed away on April 28, 2020.
Helen was born on June 6, 1925 in Dorchester, MA; she was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Lunny) Oram.
Helen was the devoted mother of Nancy McCarthy & Joe LeVasseur, Cheryl Hiltz & her husband Keith, and Kel-lee Burton, loving “Nana/Old Bud” of Dan McCarthy & wife Michelle, Eric Hiltz & wife Kelly, Chris McCarthy & wife Melissa, Josh Hiltz & wife Erin and Mike Hiltz & wife Eva, Great-Grandmother of Aidan, Isabella, Dennen, Max, Macy, Jack, Zeeva & Zane, dear sister of the late Louise McCarthy, Edith McCabe and Rosanna Lunny. Helen is survived by her son-in-law, Ronald McCarthy, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Due to the current situation of the Coronavirus and for everyone’s safety, the Burton family has decided to do a private service at this time.
Memorial donations in Helen’s name may be made to a Food Pantry of one’s choice.
