VIDEO: Wilmington Children’s Librarian Barbara Raab Discusses Library’s Earth Year Initiative

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Memorial Library’s Youth Services Librarian Barbara Raab recently discussed details around the recently-launched Wilmington Earth Year.

Wilmington Earth Year is a planned a series of activities and programs for residents to raise awareness of environmental issues and provide opportunities to take action to make a difference

As part of the Wilmington Earth Year Challenge, residents of all ages can earn digital badges by completing different earth-friendly activities. Register HERE.

Wilmington Earth Year also is promoting citizen science opportunities where ordinary individuals can contribute to scientific knowledge. One such opportunity occurs this weekend with the Boston Area City Nature Challenge.
