POLICE LOG for April 19: Complaints Over More Trees Cut Down By Keolis; Pokemon Go Doesn’t Stop During COVID-19

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, April 19, 2020:
  • A caller reported a wall was struck and damaged on Marion Street. Wooden fence that borders conservation area damaged. Resident heard a crash around 1:30am, possibly a Diesel truck. Police notified DPW. (9:07am)
  • An anonymous caller reported complaint about trees being cut down in the Salem Street area. Police informed her Keolis was removing dead trees along tracks and to file a complaint with Keolis. (11:00am)
  • A caller reported he lost his wallet at Tremezzo Ristorante. (11:45am)
  • A Blueberry Lane resident reported identify theft. (12:37pm)
  • Police came across a group of people in five vehicles gathered in the parking lot of Grace Chapel on West Street. Parties were playing Pokemon Go and sent on their way. (8:19pm)
  • A McDonald Road caller reported his dog was attacked by two loose dogs that got out of a house. His dog is uninjured, but would like to speak with the Animal Control Officer. (10:12pm)
